Hunter Monday is a civil engineering technician who has worked as a field technician at Bluerock Engineering and Testing since August 2024. Based in East Tennessee, he plays an essential role in geotechnical and construction materials testing, helping ensure projects meet rigorous engineering and safety standards. Hunter Monday’s technical qualifications include certification as an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician–Grade 1, Fundamentals of TNEPSC Level 1 Certified Personnel, and certifications in nuclear gauge and soil density testing.
Throughout his career, Hunter Monday has contributed to a variety of high-profile construction projects across Tennessee and North Carolina. His experience includes drilling and foundation work for major hospitality developments, such as Holiday Inn in Maryville, TownePlace Suites in Johnson City, and Home2Suites in Knoxville. He also served as the lead technician for The Retreat at Boone student housing development in North Carolina, overseeing concrete and soil testing, footing and slab inspections, and rebar inspections, among other tests.
Hunter Monday’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the workplace. While attending Maryville College, he earned Dean’s List honors and recognition as a Maryville College Athletics Scot Scholar during the 2019–2020 academic year, maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher across both semesters.
